A new team has entered into Indian Premier League called “Sahara Pune Warriors”. This is owned by Sahara Group. This can be joined in the IPL-4.Of the two new franchises that will be added to the IPL's stable, one has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, with Team Kochi's ownership and pow-wow with Lalit Modi being the centre of all attention in recent times. In the barrage of coverage that the dispute spawned, it seemed almost forgotten that the Sahara Group had shelled out even more money than Rendezvous Sport World to bag the Pune franchise.
It won't be forgotten now, because Sahara have officially named their franchise. The new team will be known as the Sahara Pune Warriors. Its official logo will be that of a spear wielding cavalry-warrior on a horse.
